Tyson Employees Forced To Work, Even With COVID-19

3.4kviews

Many workers at Tyson meat processing have reported to the state about being too forced to employees infected with the coronavirus, and that they are looking for the State to help close it down.
The meat processing plant in Iowa is very much still operational and forcing workers, well or not, to come into work. The company says that they are seeking advice on how to go about social distancing with the pandemic, but as Black Hawk of County Public Health, Director Dr. Nafissa Cisse Egbuonye stated that it would be “difficult” for food production facilities.
Tyson has ordered employees to wear masks and placed dividers in between workers to minimize spread.
But officials have spoken and said that they can only shut it down once the order has come from the State.
