Usher’s Former Wife Requests Lake To Be Drained, Where Her Son Was Fatally Wounded In A Jet Ski Accident
Fashion Designer Tameka Foster, the former wife of R&B singer Usher, has stated that she would like a lake in Georgia drained. This is where her 11-year-old son, Kile Glover, was fatally wounded in 2012. He had been hit by a jet ski as he floated in an inner tube on the lake.
Thus far, a petition that Foster started to drain and improve safety measures at Lake Lanier, Georgia’s largest lake, has received 3,700 signatures.
In court document, Foster states that draining the lake is a must and will be a chance to honor those who died there, as well as, halt further tragedies. She noted that many people have lost their lives on the lake over many years.
Kile was said to be brain-dead following the accident and had been placed on a ventilator for two weeks prior to his death.
Additionally, Jeffrey Hubbard had been driving the jet ski. He had been given a four-year prison sentence in relation to the accident.
Foster had been Usher’s wife for two years prior to them divorcing in 2009.
