Video Update: Double Shooting Leaves One Man Deceased on 3000 S. Westmoreland, Dallas, TX

On December 13, 2023, at approximately 6:10 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3000 block of S. Westmoreland Road. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found two men shot in the parking lot. One man died at the scene, the other man was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition. Further investigation determined the shooting happened in the 3000 block of Spruce Valley Lane, near where the men were found by officers.
The victim’s identity is unknown and will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
