Waxahachie Police Officers were called to the location, and when they arrived, they discovered a victim who had been shot once in the torso. Officers quickly started life-saving techniques, and emergency crews transported the victim to a hospital.

Early in the investigation, detectives learned that a dispute had taken place over a parking spot.
Several witnesses gave their account of what happened, and Crime Scene Investigators processed the area and gathered evidence.
The investigation is continuing. Furthermore, anyone with information regarding the matter is urged to contact Detective Austin Starkey at 469-309-4400.
