42-year-old Sara Nowak died in a car accident, close to five hours after attending her husband’s funeral, in Wisconsin, on April 1.
Right before 8 p.m., authorities arrived to the scene of a single-car wreck on State Highway 106, close to Calkins Road in Palmyra.
Reports first indicated that the navigator of the vehicle lost control and went into a ditch, causing the car to turn over. Although one person was thrown from the car, both passengers lost their life.
Sara was one of the deceased that had died. Her husband, Luis, 54, had just been buried after being diagnosed with cancer six months ago.
The two had been married since 2017.
