A woman was raped at gunpoint early Friday morning by a man in a Dallas parking garage in Uptown.
The victim told police that she was walking in the lower level of an apartment parking garage near Routh St when she says a male walked past her they spoke and when she turned her back he pulled out a gun and forced her back to her car.
Once to her vehicle she says the suspect sexually assaulted her and took some of her belongings before fleeing the scene on foot.
The woman gave police a description of the suspect saying he was a black 30 year old man, unshaven about 5’9 medium build. She said he was wearing a grey do rag, dark colored tee shirt, light colored jacket, grey sweatpants and some old tennis shoes. 
Detectives are asking that anyone with information regarding this case to call police.
This investigation is ongoing.
