10 Year Old In Forney ISD Allegedly Taped To Chair By Teacher Then Tortured By Classmates
A mother is demanding answers after her child was allegedly taped to a chair by a teacher in Forney ISD and then assaulted by other students.
The incident happened on February 22 at Crosby Elementary. Police were notified about an alleged assault from a now former teacher at the school.
After learning about the allegations Forney ISD police began an investigation and notified the parent. The now former teacher was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
On March 2, Forney ISD released a statement saying, “Forney ISD said a “thorough investigation into the allegations” was conducted and it was determined that the incident “does not meet the elements of the criminal offense of Unlawful Restraint, due to the finding that the student did not have considerable restriction of freedom of movement.” No criminal charges were filed, the district said.
According to the boys mother, Charlotte Johnson, her 10 year old son is the smallest student in the class and has dwarfism. Johnson said after speaking with her son he told her he was able to escape and go the nurses office.
