An investigation is underway after an 11 year old girl was arrested for the murder of a 36 year old man in Louisiana.
The incident occurred on November 14 when officers responded to a shooting call on the 4700 block of Jasper Road in New Iberia.
Upon arriving they found the victim, 36 year old Kameran Bedsole, unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews.
On November 29 authorities arrested an 11 year old female in connection with the murder. She was charged with first degree murder and booked into the Lafayette Juvenile Detention Center.
