A shooting at an Arlington/ Kennedale carwash Wednesday left an 18 year old dead and a child injured.
According to reports, Kennedale police responded to a shooting call on the 6300 block of Treepoint Drive, around 2:50 p.m.
Upon arrival they found two victims inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to area hospitals.
The 18 year old victim, Hayden Scarlato, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other victims identity has not been released due to the age but has been listed in stable condition.
Kennedale police have identified two to three males driving a dark-colored 4-door sedan that was seen fleeing from the scene shortly after the shooting.
This investigation remains ongoing.
