An investigation is underway after a 2 year
old boy was found deceased inside a Las Vegas dumpster.
On June 6, around 8:25 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding a missing toddler on the 400 block of S. 15th St.
Officers immediately began searching for the young boy. Around 1 a.m., officers found the boy in a dumpster located on the 1300 block of Lewis Avenue.
The child who was identified as Jacoby Robinson by police on a flyer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Later that day LVPD arrested, the boys mother, 23 year old Diaja Smith, and she was booked into Clark County Detention Center.
Smith was charged with murder along with other felony charges.
No words will bring justice for such a crime
