Shooting In Deep Ellum Leaves 4 Injured

Dallas police are investigating a shooting in Deep Ellum that left four injured.

On June 9, around 2:47 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call on the 2800 block of Elm Street. When they arrived then found four people suffering from gunshot wounds.

All four victims were transported to an area hospital where one of them was listed in critical condition. The other three sustained non life threatening injuries and are expected to survive.

During the investigation officers learned that there was an argument between two groups when someone pulled out a weapon and opened fire.

Authorities detained one person for questioning but no charges have been filed.
