A man has been arrested and charged with murder after allegedly shooting and killing a man at a San Antonio gas station.
Earlier this week officers responded to a shooting call at a Valero gas station on the 4600 block of FM 78, around 1 p.m.
Upon their arrival they located the victim, 41 year old Stefan Volkman, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
The suspect, 20 year old Jekierin Walker, was still present at the gas station and told officers that he was asking for money when he got into an altercation with Volkman.
It was said that Volkman called Walker racial slurs. Walker then pulled out a gun and shot Volkman multiple times.
Walker admitted to shooting Volkman and was arrested and taken into custody for murder.
