Fort Worth police are investigating after they found a newborn baby deceased under a carport.
Officers were called to the 4900 block of Hampshire Boulevard around 2pm Wednesday afternoon.
Upon arrival they found a newborn deceased under a carport. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the newborn as ‘baby girl Lopez’.
The newborns cause of death has not been released at this time. Authorities have said that this is an isolated crime and there is no threat to the public.
Crimes Against Children Unit CACU have been notified and this investigation is ongoing.
