On Thursday, a boy died from blunt force injuries at his residence. His death has been ruled a homicide, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office noted.
4-month-old Azaria Jai’shuan Williams was named as the victim, on Friday. He was declared deceased at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth.
The medical examiner’s website stated that the injuries happened at an apartment in the 4100 block of Southwest Loop 820 in south Fort Worth.
The baby was declared deceased at 11:16 p.m., Thursday.
Fort Worth authorities answered to the call in relation to an unresponsive infant, and investigators with the crimes against children unit are looking into the matter.
No arrests have been made, and no further information has been released at this time.
