An investigation is underway after five teens were shot inside an Illinois residence early Sunday morning.
Zion police responded to a call, around 12:19 a.m., regarding multiple shots being fired on the 1800 block of Horeb Avenue.
Upon arrival they found five teens inside suffering from gunshot wounds. They were all transported to an area hospital.
Four of the teens were treated for non life threatening injuries and released. An 18 year old male was shot in the abdomen and listed in critical condition.
Zion police have not made any arrest at this time but believe this to be a targeted attack.
They are investigating and checking with other law enforcement agencies with similar incidents.
