A 6 year old pedestrian child was pronounced dead after being struck by a vehicle in Dallas Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened near Sunnyvale St and Locust Ave Sunday where the child was struck by the vehicle.
The child was then transported to Children’s Medical Center where they later died due to the injuries. 
The driver of the vehicle did stop to render aid and the investigation as to what led up to the accident is ongoing.
