A Funeral Home Worker Accused of Sexually Abusing Corpse Found Dead in Vehicle by Suicide !!!

A Florida Panhandle funeral home worker was caught sexually abusing a corpse, allegedly.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office reported the suspect later killed himself.

Co-workers at the Oak Lawn Funeral Home have asked not to be identified. Still, they are cooperating with the police investigation following an employee’s report that they walked in on their co-worker sexually abusing a corpse.

When sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene that morning, they said the suspect was gone.

The suspect was later found dead inside his vehicle after shooting himself, police said.

They are notifying clients, hoping to ease concerns, the funeral home said.

“Out of respect for the privacy and confidentiality of the families, we are not in a position to comment,” the funeral home said in a statement. “We will continue to fully cooperate with the sheriff’s office.”

The suspect has not been identified and no further details have been released as the investigation continues.
