When Trinity Bethune bought her first car, she never imagined what would happen next.
In a Facebook post, Lumberton Honda congratulated Bethune on her new vehicle. “Congratulations to Bon Quisha on her 2016 Toyota Camry,” the post read.
Trinity was outraged when she saw her picture and the incorrect name. “I’m not sure if this is a joke or something, but my name is definitely Trinity Bethune. I’m very offended by this post; it’s almost a racial slur. If I’m not addressed by MY name, then please don’t address me at all,” she posted back.
A man who states that he is Trinity’s brother described the act as intentional, disgusting, and unfair. He stated that this was not a mistake.
He said that his sister is not doing well, and he is seeking legal advice.
