Kaufman County Sheriffs are investigating a stabbing that left a man dead early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a stabbing call on the 2400 block of San Marcos Dr around 1am.
Upon arrival they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Emergency crews attempted to perform cpr but the man died from his injuries.
Authorities have a suspect in custody but are investigating to see what led up to the stabbing.
