A former Oak Ridge police chief was arrested in Arlington following a solicitation of prostitution from a minor accusation.
According to reports, a juvenile reported an incident involving 55 year old Oak Ridge Police Chief Thomas Peoples.
After a thorough investigation Arlington police arrested Peoples on October 5 and charged him with solicitation of prostitution from a person under 18.
He was released on a $25,000 surety bond.
Peoples was immediately terminated following his arrest.
This case remains an active investigation.
