Actor Michael Lerner has died. He was most-known for playing parts in ‘Elf,’ ‘Barton Fink,’ ‘ Godzilla,’ and many other films.
“We lost a legend last night. It’s hard to put into words how brilliant my uncle Michael was and how influential he was to me,” stated his nephew, Sam Lerner, on IG.
It isn’t clear how the actor died.
Besides the other movies named, Lerner also had roles in ‘Blank Check,’ ‘Newsies,’ ‘Harlem Nights,’ and more.
Some of the t.v. shows that he appeared on were ‘The Brady Bunch,’ ‘MASH,’ ‘Hill Street Blues,’ ‘Clueless,’ ‘Glee,’ and others.
Michael leaves behind a well-known brother, Ken, and many other relatives.
He was 81.
