A 32 year old man is dead following an altercation between two men in Dallas Sunday evening.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 6 p.m. on Lagow Street and Spring Avenue. When they arrived they found Dallas Fire and Rescue administering first aid to 32 year old Chaddrick Hooker.

Not far down the road on the 3700 block of Spring Avenue they found 53 year old Darron Morgan also suffering from a gunshot wound. Both men were transported to an area hospital where Hooker died from his injuries.

After a thorough investigation it was determined that Hooker and Morgan had been in an altercation before exchanging gunfire. A warrant for murder has also been issued for Morgan, and once released from the hospital he will be transported to Lew Sterrett jail.
