A Dallas paramedic was injured in a hit and run crash late Wednesday night.
A Dallas ambulance was transporting a patient to the hospital around 10:30pm near MLK Blvd when it was struck by a black suv. 
Authorities say the suv did not stop it kept going and hit a guardrail near the I-45 ramp and lost control of the vehicle. The driver then got out of the vehicle and took off on foot running.
The ambulance driver was not hurt but the paramedic in the back with the patient was injured and taken to the hospital with minor injuries and are expected to be alright.
The suspect is still at large and police are asking for any information to help lead to the suspects arrest.
