A handmade bomb was discovered at a McKinney Cemetery early Thursday morning.
The Collin County Sheriff’s responded to Scott Cemetery at 9:36 a.m. after a possible pipe bomb at the location was reported.
After securing the area, the Plano Police Department Bomb Squad arrived at the scene and confirmed it was an explosive device.
The bomb was removed safely and the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms was notified for further investigation.
