Arkansas Paramedic Cuts Ring Off Deceased Patients Finger

An Arkansas paramedic was arrested Monday afternoon for allegedly cutting a 1.7 carat diamond ring from a deceased patients finger and then pawning it.
According to reports Lisa Glaze,50 was one of the paramedics that transported Gloria Robinson to Chi St Vincent hospital on October 26 for a medical emergency where she later died.
Authorities believe Glaze cut a single cut diamond marquis ring with a gold band from Robinson’s hand.
Robinson’s personal belongings were given to her sister and husband, who noticed three of her rings missing.
When the sister asked Glaze about the property she said she did not respond and walked away.
Two of the three rings were recovered and the third ring was later located on October 24 at Hot Springs Classic Guns and Pawn, with the band cut out.
The ring was valued at $7,946.63 and Glaze pawned it and received $45.
Glaze was taken into custody and charged with a felony count of theft over $5000 and a misdemeanor count of unlawful transfer of stolen property to a pawn shop.
Glaze was released on a $4500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Garland County District court on November 26.
