A Michigan woman was arrested after police say she killed her best friend over a man.
44-year-old Raquelle Casillas, 44, is charged with murder in the death of her 44-year-old friend.
Casillas and the unidentified friend began fighting with each other after Casillas allegedly “took” her friend’s boyfriend.
Following a liquor-filled brawl, a picture of the two, both having black eyes, surfaced on the internet when Casillas took to her Facebook to share the photo.
According to police, the fighting lasted a few days off and on before the boyfriend called 9-1-1 and reported an assault.
When officers arrived at the residence, they found the 44-year-old woman unconscious in the bathroom suffering severe wounds and head trauma. She was transported to the hospital where she died 2 days later.
Casillas was charged with Open Murder and taken to the St. Clair County Detention and Intervention Center. She remains there without bond until her scheduled court hearing on June 20.
