Two of Texas favorite brands, Blue Bell and Dr Pepper have linked up and created Dr Pepper float ice cream.
The tasty treat is set to hit stores on May 18 anywhere Blue Bell products are sold. The ice cream is said to be a blend of vanilla ice cream and a Dr Pepper flavored sherbet. It will be available in pints and half gallons.
Dr Pepper was founded in 1885 in Waco, Texas while Blue Bell was founded in 1807 in Brenham, Texas. It was originally called Brenham Creamery Company and known for making butter. They changed the name to Blue Bell in 1930, and in 1958 expanded its product line with ice cream.
