There have been two reports of credit card skimmers in the city of Forney, in Texas, authorities say. One pin pad skimmer had been installed at a 7-11 at 100 E. US Highway 80. The other was installed at a 7-11 at 1340 N. FM548.
Police have now released images of possible suspects and are hoping that the public will help identify them. They are persons of interest as the investigation is continuing.
Officials have urged that people in the city look at card readers to ensure that they have not been tampered with. If it has, some possible signs would be seemingly looking bulky, or a card may “stick or catch” as it is swiped.
