Body Of Florida College Student, Miya Marcano, Is Discovered

The body of missing Florida college student, Miya Marcano, 19, has been discovered, officials say.

Marcano’s body was found close to an apartment building. She disappeared on the same day a maintenance worker used a master key to gain unauthorized access to her home.

On September 24, she missed a flight back home to South Florida, which prompted her relatives to report her missing.

Armando Caballero, the 27 year-old main suspect, was the maintenance worker at the same apartment complex where Marcano resided and was employed. His body was located in a garage three days after Marcano was observed alive. He had apparently committed suicide.

Caballero’s romantic gestures were shut down by Marcano previously. He was questioned by authorities when she first went missing. An arrest warrant was issued after cell phone records showed him at her apartment for 20 minutes the night she disappeared.
