Chiefs’ Justyn Ross Taken Into Custody For Dragging Woman Through House

1.5kviews

On Monday, NFL wide receiver Justyn Ross, of the Chiefs, was apprehended in Kansas.

Reports indicate that a woman used a neighbor’s phone to call police after Ross broke her cell phone. She told the dispatcher that Ross had torn up the residence and drug her through the home. She added that there was a gun in the home but not on his person, at the time.

Documents show that the 23-year-old was jailed on a charge of criminal damage of greater than $25,000. On Tuesday morning, he had still been in custody.

The Chiefs have noted that they know about the situation, but they haven’t commented further.

In 2022, Ross joined the Chiefs as an updraft free agent. However, he didn’t play in his first year due to an injury.

This season, Ross has played in seven games, making 3 catches for 34 yards.
