College Football Player Arrested On Second-Degree Sodomy Charges

19-year-old Antonio Ross, a walk-on for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, was apprehended on charges of second-degree sodomy with a juvenile female.

Ross, a receiver for Alabama, was taken into custody in Weaver, Alabama, on Monday. This came after he was indicted by a Calhoun County grand jury. He was released on a $50,000 bond.

Now, Ross has been cut from the football team.

“Tonio Ross is no longer part of the program and has been removed from campus,” Alabama noted.

The information regarding Ross’s criminal charges hasn’t been publicly released. Additionally, the name and age of the juvenile hasn’t been disclosed.
