The Dallas County Health Department reported its lowest number of Coronavirus cases since June 1 Thursday with 230 new cases and 10 deaths.
County Judge Clay Jenkins believes that this lowered number of cases in the COVID-19 virus is strong evidence that wearing a mask is working and that we can not let up.
The 10 reported deaths have been from men and women between the ages of 40 and 80. The 40 year old man that died did not have any underlying health conditions before contracting the virus.
Judge Clay Jenkins said, “COVID-19 is a very dangerous disease for everyone and that’s why wearing a mask, maintaining a six foot distance, regular hygiene and avoiding unnecessary trips is absolutely essential.”
