DART has teamed up with Grammy award-winning artist Erykah Badu to unveil a new bus design for selected vehicles in the metroplex.
The collaboration, which honors the proud Dallas native, will feature a series of 3 DART buses and 2 trains. They will operate through 13 different cities and will be wrapped with artwork and imagery of Badu.
In a statement on their website, DART President and CEO Nadine Lee explained, “DART is thrilled to partner with Erykah Badu for our yearlong collaboration celebrating all that North Texas has to offer. As a Dallas native, Erykah Badu has inspired so many people. From her many awards and accolades to everything she’s given back to our communities, we’re honored to celebrate her many successes.”
