Dallas Police Chief Reneé Hall terminated Senior Corporal Kevin Masters, #8044, Thursday after a disciplinary hearing.
An internal affairs investigation was concluded on January 20, 2019, where Senior Corporal Masters engaged in adverse conduct when he drove a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Senior Corporal Masters was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age.
He was hired in July of 2001 and assigned to the community engagement unit.
Senior Corporal Masters has the right to appeal his discipline.
