Dallas Woman Ran Over And Killed By Garbage Truck

A garbage truck struck a woman Friday afternoon between W. Jefferson and S. Zang while she was crossing the street.
According to reports the Waste Connections garbage truck was making a right turn on to S. Zang when they struck the woman. The driver says it did not see the woman crossing the street.
The victim who’s name has not been released died at the scene. Police say it will be up to a grand jury to decide if the driver of the truck will be charged with criminally negligent homicide.
