On Sunday, DaRon Bland broke the NFL record for pick-sixes in one season.

“Nothing crazy, just everyone congratulating me,” Bland stated about the messages he’s gotten from relatives and friends since Thursday.

To honor his achievement, the Pro Football Hall of Fame will be transporting Bland’s cleats and gloves to Canton, Ohio. However, the ball that was used to break the record will stay with Bland, a second-year corner back.

Bland says that the ball and the other balls from his five interceptions from 2022 will be housed in a trophy case in his residence.

His play has him with the fourth-best odds to win the NFL Defensive Palyer of the Year Award.

However, for now, Bland’s next objective is to assist his team in winning the Super Bowl.
