Several luxury bags were stolen from Neiman Marcus in San Francisco by looters who stormed the store. Recently, the city has been experiencing a rise in shoplifting incidences.
According to police, at least 9 people crushed the display glass, snatched the purses, and fled the scene.
Video from a cellphone recorded the group bolting from the establishment and hopping into a waiting car.
It is said that the crime occurred just prior to closing.
This incident is the latest occurrence of a long year of shoplifting thefts in the city.
