DeSoto Police were called to Desoto High School when a student was caught with a firearm in his backpack.
Isaiah Manual Joe Reyes,17 was caught with an unloaded .25 caliber I’m his backpack. Reyes didn’t pose any type of threat towards the school or students but was arrested for having the firearm on school property.
The student was taken to Tri-City Jail and charged with Unlawful carry of a weapon places a weapon is not allowed and is considered a felony. The students name has not been released.
