A Detroit pastor has been charged with the murder of a transgender woman killed in Detroit Friday.
According to reports Kelly Stough,36 was born a boy and endured a lot of bullying as a child. He decided to embrace life as a transgender once he got to college.
Stough’s body was discovered on the morning of December 7 near East St.Nichols and Brush Street. 
Authorities arrested and charged pastor Albert Wearhers,46 Monday in connection with the murder. He originally told police that he shot someone that was tryin to rob him. 
Weathers has been charged with first degree murder and was being held on $1 million bond.
