The incident took place early Sunday morning in the Copper Hill Apartments in Bedford when the victim was walking to her vehicle.
The victim told police that she heard 3 gunshots and was struck by a bullet in her left booty cheek.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital and treated for her injuries before being released.
She described her shooter as a white male wearing a black hoodie, a beanie and about 5’8 to 5’10.
