2.8kviews

Dylann Roof,22, was given the death penalty after killing nine black churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina.
Roof did the shooting back in 2015 and while in court November 7, the jurors began deliberating and it only took them two hours to reach an unanimous decision.
Dylann’s family releases a statement following the judges verdict “We will always love Dylann. We will struggle as long as we live to understand why he committed this horrible attack, which caused so much pain to so many good people. We wish to express the grief we feel for the victims of his crimes, and our sympathy to the many families he has hurt. We continue to pray for the Emanuel AME families and the Charleston community”.
Formal sentencing will begin Wednesday morning and also give the families opportunity to speak openly in court.
