Parents of 15 Year Old Murder Suspect Did Not Show Up For Court Hearing

Court hearing for 15 year old teen that robbed and killed a Dallas mother was postponed today because they boys mother or guardian did not show up. 

Polie say the teen who went into an Oakcliff Dollar General, robbed and shot Gabrielle Simmons will remain in custody after his parents were a no show. Usually in a case like this police say that a parent must be present just in case the child is released. In this case he was not released and could possibly be tried as an adult.

The judge over the case has rescheduled  the hearing for later this month and attorneys say the judge will have to factor in the juveniles criminal record as well as his age.

Simmons leaves behind her fiancé and 6 young children.
