A horrible crash in Dallas claimed the life of an infant and a 25 year old man early Saturday morning.
On July 1, officers responded to a call regarding a major accident on the 6400 block of Grand Avenue.
Upon arrival they located 25 year old James Lee Bernard III deceased at the scene and transported a female passenger and an infant to a local hospital.
The infant passed away at the hospital.
During the investigation officers learned that Bernard was speeding while traveling northbound on E. Grand Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle, hit a curb and then a tree.
