An England woman was sentenced to life in prison after she killed her husband who allegedly sexually assaulted her two children back in 2020.
According to reports Corrina Smith,59 of Neston, poured a mixture of boiling water and sugar on her husband Michael Baines,80, while he was asleep.
Authorities were called and he was transported to an area hospital with severe burns. He suffered serious burns over a third of his body.
He was hospitalized for five weeks until he succumbed to his injuries on August 18.
Smith was found guilty of murder on July 9 and will have to serve a minimum of 12 years in prison before being considered for parole.
