Ennis ISD is changing their school safety policies to ensure safety within their children.
Ennis County has switched some of their safety procedures due to the recent shootings that have been going on in the school districts lately.
They’ve already started randomly searching backpacks and they say starting next year they will have search dogs, more cameras installed, classroom doors locked during class hours and they will require the students to wear clear backpacks with their name badges visible.
Ennis ISD says their students safety is their top priority and they will do everything to ensure the safety.
Parents are appearing to be happy with the new policy changes.
