The Federal Bureau of Investigations has released information regarding planned armed protests in all 50 states leading up to Inauguration Day. The FBI sent a memo to all law enforcement agencies across the nation stating these protests are set to begin on January 16. Other outside sources warned the FBI and New York City Police Department of possible armed protests that occurred on January 6, at The U.S Capitol, but the FBI had no indication that there would be any violence, where an officer and four other people were killed.
The information the FBI received stated there is an armed group that is planning on traveling to Washington on Jan 16, the group also stated that there would be a huge uprising if Congress tries to remove President Donald Trump using the 25th Amendment (in case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President).
