Cedar Hill PD are investigating the drowning death of a missing five year old.
Officers responded to a call about a missing 5 year old child on the 100 block of Hunter St.
Upon arrival officers searched the neighborhood and located surveillance cameras.
After searching through the videos officers noticed the child entering a backyard.
Officers immediately went to the backyard and found the child unresponsive inside a pool.
At this time authorities believe the incident to be accidental.
Cedar Hill police are working with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as well as the Dallas County Medical Examiners office.
