Garland Police Arrest Man They Believe Is Connected To Multiple Road Rage Shootings

A 22 year old man has been arrested and is believed to be responsible for a string of road rage shootings.
Garland police responded to a shooting call on Dairy Rd and Hwy 66 Sunday evening and while in route they were made aware that the suspect fled the scene in an older model beige Dodge Ram pickup.
Officers in the area observed the pickup speeding and swerving lane to lane on the 1800 block of Forest Ln and began following the vehicle.
The suspect pulled into a shopping center parking lot on the 2500 block of Forest Ln where officers located an AR-15 22 caliber rifle along with several live bullets.
The officer also found cocaine inside the vehicle.
Five individuals were inside the vehicle and during investigation officers learned that the victim was driving a blue jeep when the driver of the beige pickup started speeding up and then pulled up alongside the jeep before pointing the AR at the victim and firing several rounds.
The driver of the jeep was not injured.
The driver of the pickup was later identified as Luis Bethancourt-Molina,22 and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft of a firearm.
He is also believed to be a suspect in multiple road roads shootings in the metroplex as well as a shooting in Garland that recently occurred.

The front passenger Carol Orozco Sevilla,19 was charged with possession of cocaine and back passenger Yoseline Castaneda,17 was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant out fo Irving.
This investigation is ongoing.
