Grand Prairie Man Arrested For Attempted Murder On A Henderson County Deputy

A Grand Prairie man accused of shooting a Henderson County Deputy early Wednesday morning is now in custody.
According to reports Deputy Jonathan Hutchinson was attempting to pull over motorcyclist Jeremy Cook,39 and when the chase came to an end Cook shot at the Deputy striking him on his side.
The officer was wearing his protective vest and was taken to an area hospital treated for his injuries and released.
The officer shot back but did not strike the suspect.
Deputies began a manhunt for Cook and later found him hiding in a wooded area near Jacksonville, Tx where he was arrested and charged with attempted capital murder of a peace officer.
He is being held with no bond.
