Homeless Man Attacks Women In Downtown Dallas

Police have arrested a homeless man for attacking two women in downtown Dallas with a pocket knife.
According to police reports Branden Holbert,22, allegedly approached two women downtown near Main st and accused them of taking pictures of him and then pulled out a knife yelling and threatening the ladies.
The women took off running into a nearby building and Holbert chased them and caught them in an elevator where he began swinging the knife and slashing the ladies on their face, arms and shoulders. The women were able to escape and get help thanks to witnesses help. There were witnesses on the scene that stayed and held the suspect in the elevator until police arrived.
Holbert was taken in to custody and faces several charges including two counts of aggravated assault and both women were taken to the hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries.
